While working in the theatre industry as a costume designer and producer, L. M. Campbell wrote short stories and poetry published in magazines and on-line; and plays produced on the stage in London and the Home Counties in the UK. She wrote topical comedy sketches for a monthly live theatre comedy show in Brighton and numerous pieces for arts industry magazines and websites. For a short while, she was Arts Editor for Human Journey magazine which was simultaneously distributed to readers in the UK and India. Now combining her love of comedy and of dogs, Campbell explores the internet dog language phenomenon through the use of memes and humour in her latest book, How to Speak Doggo
