The Arizona fall sky is daily filled with thunderheads. Most of these photographs were taken in a 20-minute period on August 12, 2006, and filled out with another 8 or 9 taken during the following two days.

He was also the classical music critic, the dance critic, the opera critic, the architecture critic and the backup movie critic. He has written for every section of the newspaper except the Business section. He has been a photographer for more than 40 years. Now retired, he lives in the Blue Ridge.
