À propos du livre
Whilst on a working holiday in Europe with no real long term itinerary the author stumbles across the European camping tour industry. He discovers that not only is it a free way to travel extensively with food and lodging supplied, but the overwhelming majority of passengers are single women. He can’t get a job application in quick enough.
The author describes the various day to day problems of border crossings without visas, or with amounts of alcohol in great excess to that allowed. He tells of subsidizing low wages by smuggling things like alcohol into Norway or Levis jeans into Russia, being stood over by crooked border officials or Police for bribes and unexpected delays due to breakdowns.
