À propos du Ebook
The photographs in this book were taken at the full bleed of light, wind, and water. They are seemingly unrendered, in and out of focus, and noisy in places. However, they are meant to be this way, and for sale as seen and described here. They look best as original photo prints on aluminum backing or under acrylic glass. All images shown were created by me between 2007 and 2014. All photographs used were taken by me between 1979 and 2014, except where stated otherwise. All texts in this book were written by me. The solar eclipse incorporated in the composite of the old stellar chart (found in the fifth edition of Meyers Konversations-Lexikon, published in Leipzig and Vienna in 1893) and the drawing of Hamburg's long-gone timeball semaphore (found in Richard Schorr's Die Hamburger Sternwarte, published in Hamburg by Leopold Voss in 1901) was photographed on the 11th of August 1999 by Bill Kramer. This catalog is available without markup on blurb.com as a book and in digital formats.
