A short collaborative ethnography on the visiting culture of Bayou Lafourche, one of the unique communities of South Louisiana. 'Making the Veiller' Connections on the Bayou explores the ways that people connect and interact through their culture and questions the concept of belonging. Stories based on the memories and experiences of the author and Interview segments provided by 3 different residents. The book contains many color photos of the area, people, and traditions.
