In this book, the community of writers, Letras en la Frontera, offers a sample of literature written by Spanish-speaking immigrants in Texas. Through poetry and poetic prose, these texts reflect the sometimes painful, sometimes enriching experience that occurs when the immigrant must face life in two languages.
