It is not a kick by kick set of match reports and nothing is rated. The book looks at the teams, grounds, players, officials, places, towns, journeys, irrelevant facts and tangents all with a big love of the game shining through.

Fairly self deprecating, slightly sarcastic and possibly obsessed with seagulls and german twin towns, apparently you don't even need to like football!
