I was born in 1964, in Ancona (Italy). The vicissitudes of life have led me to become an electronic engineer, but I have always had a passion for photography and nature. Since I was a child I dedicated my spare time to the observation and study of natural environments, aimed particularly at small invertebrates, trying to document their habitats, behaviors and lifestyles. I am a member of AFNI (Association of Italian Nature Photographers) and I co-operate with Conero Regional Park on projects aimed at protecting the environment and enhancing the territory.
