À propos du livre
I am an avid outdoor adventurer! My book is inspired by my mother's creativity, long distance open water swimming, and many backpacking trips in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I am from the northeast and have been living in Seattle for 3.5 years, which I'm proud to say now feels fully like home. I moved here because of a backpacking trip in Goat Rocks Wilderness - I like to say I was convinced after counting 23 different varieties of wildflowers during the course of a two-day backpacking trip. I am constantly inspired by nature, all of the paintings featured in this book were painted after car camping or backpacking trips in Oregon, Washington and California with friends. I like to paint commemorative souvenirs instead of buying things. My house is more colorful because of it. Moss Woman is inspired by my trip to Gravescreek Campground in the Olympic National Park. I thought a mossy branch looked like a woman dancing - and Moss Woman was born. Enjoy her adventure!
