Natural stone presents a variety of visual effects from chaotic to ordered, grey to colorful, crystalline and angular to smoothly curved. Subjects are found in many natural environments: cliff faces, glacier remnants, eroded steam beds, ... The photographs presented here are not documents but rather expressions of thoughts and emotions arising from the photographers response to the stones, the recording of the stone image on film and the printed photograph.
