Short Attention Span is a series of nine panel, one-page, black and white comics. These comics are structured with traditional tiers and gutters (like the classic Sunday comic layout) but these comics do not have a set narrative. Because of the structure, the viewer is intended to look at the images but because of the strange transitions and non-sequiturs between panels there is an implied and open-ended narrative. I see these comics as an extension of my painting and collage work where I use post-structuralism ideas to create a bizarre story open to interpretation.
