They keep themselves fiendishly busy in their inevitably cheeky way, and we find each one of these endearing characters is cleverly named after a different letter of the alphabet, i.e. Albert Mole is the headteacher, Boris Bear is a chef, Clarrie is a nurse etc. Our illustrated book 'Albert's Birthday Surprise' has a cast of 7 characters from the village who get in a muddle, which is of no surprise. Lastly we are given an introduction to all of the Animals at Work and their jobs around the village. Each of the follow up illustrated books will have a different cast from the village bumping in to each other in an imaginative way. The @Animalsatwork have a large presents on Twitter where the opinionated artist Emmie FaMouse is holder of the pen and paints. We should also soon be hearing the Animals at Work in song on disc trying out their vocal talents.
