I started Photography in the age of six. It´s getting serious when I was 14, when my father came home one day with a complete equipment of two cameras, lenses and darkroom stuff. At the same time, during my holidays, I became a Volunteer in a Photographers Studio in Hamburg. Two years later I had to finish school and started working in that guys company for about two years. Afterwards I had four years in different Jobs, as an Assistent, Bartender, Delivery and some others. In the age of 27 I founded my first own studio in Hamburg, doing Advertising an catalogue-stuff. Eight years later, in between I was married and got three sons, we moved two Mallorca, Spain. That Episode lasted another two years, in which I was working in a production-service, as a tour guide, kitchen help or at the building site. Back in Germany, there were waiting Jobs like factory worker, taxi driver and gas station cashier. For the last 12 years I ´ve been working as a Freelance photographer again.
