Thematically inspired by the Disney classic, this sixth entry in Michael Deabold’s catalog of poetry books explores a deep hole of society’s darkest realities. He touches on subjects such as sexual abuse, equality, the current political climate, and mental illness, among other hot-button issues. He also looks inward on his own life where he stands as a mid-twenties adult who analyzes every situation with a grey-tinged outlook due to his depression and cynicism towards most things. Rabbit Hole is eighty pages of free-falling to a rock bottom where you lay on your back and wonder what the meaning of it all really is.

Welcome to Sighing in Unison. We are a Long Island/ New York-based creative collective. Consisting of five core members with several dozen more contributors, we work together closely on interdisciplinary projects spanning the artistic spectrum. Our endeaveurs have included poetry, photography, mixed media art and music, among others. Since being founded in 2013 by Bryan J Mangam & Michael Deabold, we have published two full length anthologies, containing our finest work and have several more books on their way.
