This project is about bodies. About how each body visually communicates with the next. It is about the fact that while we are each crafted singularly, uniquely from the next, today’s society claims to have reached a state of post-identity.
But are we truly all "one"? Is our goal of equality really a struggle to achieve sameness? Or must we acknowledge our difference and adopt policies that better recognize that reality.
We each bare a second skin, the socialized body—built off the foundation of our physical form. It is the one that is in constant communication with the bodies around us.
This project is about how each of our lived experiences impacts our understanding of the world.
