John Richard Scott Born 1932 London

Even as a child John had a talent for drawing and was encouraged by his parents.
He chose Architecture as a career and studied both in England and after migrating with his family to Australia continued at what is now the Institute for Technology.
He has had an exciting career as an Architect in both England and Australia specializing in high rise buildings all over Australia.
After moving permanently to Bibbenluke in 1991 John decided that he wished to pursue his art full time. He has had two successful Art Shows held in the Old Inn. These were watercolour works featuring many shearing sheds and landscapes on the local area. The change to oils was a new challenge and many of the works you see here today are from this period. Although John is having mobility problems it has not dampened his love of sketching and painting and he hopes to continue for many years to come.
