À propos du livre
With the help of her analogue camera Julija tries to create an organic photomontage of a sort, the one which is made entirely inside the camera, on just one roll of film, without any further manipulations. Julija sources her captures from literally everywhere, from contemporary art, popular culture, surrounding cityscapes, as well as her occasional collaborations with dancers and musicians. In her view, double exposure allows a quick dip into unconsciousness. As a double exposure, photography faces itself, it evokes its own powers, but the results are often ambiguous.
