À propos du livre
Edward Doty survived the long journey on board the Mayflower and the early years of settlement in Plymouth.
An indentured servant who could not read or write, he received the property rights and benefits given to all "first comers" and fathered nine children. This branch of the family migrated from Massachusetts to the Hudson River Valley, the Niagara frontier, and eventually arrived in Canada West in 1851 where they established a Canadian connection to the Mayflower.
