Before the spring leaves appear, the shape of a bare tree is an amazing form. To be able to see the true skeletal form, before the development and growth of a tree continues, I intend on capturing the bare tree and its surroundings including the formation of the clouds and shadows that are cast.



My inspiration comes from an interest in silhouettes and the shapes that are formed. This fits with the concept of a bare tree on a landscape where a dependence on a backlight isn't necessary to create a silhouette.
