À propos du livre
Tibursious "Teep" Ssendawula built two brick houses for elderly women living in unsafe conditions and with young children to care for in Masaka District, Uganda. But he did not build the houses alone. Teep's program, The Uganda School Dream Project, identifies and aides children that demonstrate the desire to learn but whose families cannot afford the necessary fees for uniforms and textbooks. But the program also seeks to teach the children about the meaning of community.
In the summer of 2007, Teep's program brought the children of The Uganda School Dream Project together to learn what it means to give back to their community.
Through the help of many hands, two houses were built in just two weeks.
