À propos du livre
This book contains most of the paintings that will be featured, in a solo exhibition, and are some of her latest works of art.
Ocean inspirations, imbued with the colors of the sea, find their way into her paintings. Sea-glass hues and fluid designs are in each brushstroke. Images of shells, fish. seahorses or starfish will make appearances in her pieces - sometimes they are in the hidden messages.

À propos du créateur
I owned, operated and taught at my own Art School for 18 yrs. in Charlotte, North Carolina before transferring to Florida. As an award winning artist, I stay involved in many juried art shows and exhibits. My work can be seen in many galleries through out the south. I am currently working on a book on my experiences teaching art, and lessons for teachers to use in the art room. Because I have taught for so many years, I do various types of painting. My favorite is oils, although I still use acrylics, and continue to paint on silk. Water acts as a conduit for my creativity. Reflections and the play of light on water captivates me. Surroundings that I love will find their way into my paintings. Environment is the inspiration that I use for my subjects and palette, therefore color and light play a huge part in the theme of my artwork, giving it an impressionistic, almost contemporary, style.
