À propos du livre
This edition contains the original ten images of the photographic series "Spread," by Eric Roman Beining; it provides the artist statement for the work; and the fictionalized narrative inquiry written regarding the process, as part of Mr. Beining's Master of Fine Art thesis work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

À propos du créateur
Hi - I'm a photographer (and graphic designer) in the Midwest. My published Blurb books currently consist of my two of my series of work. The first is "Expended (and Sampled)", which uses photographs-as-objects and the "images present evidence of hanging on and letting go, both invoking and challenging the preservation and re-imaging of our personal histories." The second is "Spread" which "uses irony to critique the de-sexed male body in advertising" presenting a series of candy-colored images to attract the viewer to these magazine-style bodies, while including unexpected erogenous zones in the foreground and background. (Be advised, it includes nudity.) You won't see them poster-sized as originally presented, because it's a book, but the original works are each 20" wide by 30" high, with some double panels being 40" wide. I also have my novelette "206, A Tale" available. It's a Goldilocks-riff! (I have some older projects under the user name Pantone184.)
