À propos du livre
Our view of the world is a precarious one. For thousands of years, we have seen the entirety of our cosmology exist in a state of permanent change. And as it has changed, so has our understanding of our place in it.
Inherent in our understanding of the world is the idea of scale. And as we have probed the vastness of the cosmos and the minutia of the sub-atomic world, a startling realization emerged: that our concept of size is entirely relative in its nature.
These images aim to explore this idea. And as such, are best viewed as forms without definite scale. Further, they also benefit from a viewing of Charles and Ray Eames’s “Powers of Ten” film, by which they were directly inspired.
