**This book is the result of an urban design studio directed by Juan Miró at the School of Architecture of The University of Texas at Austin in the spring of 2013. The goal of the studio was to explore new models of development that embrace high density and test them with specific proposals for the Brackenridge Tract, a parcel of 368 acres of prime land owned by The University of Texas and located west of the central core of Austin.
