The Bohemia experience always accelerates my desire to pick up my camera and walk through its embedded layered terrain. It is not the decisive moment in this case, but finding the rhythm in a wordless narrative, with intermittent still and silent moments. In that state comes the sphere of authenticity outside the technical. Taking something from the original, changing its context to elevate towards a freedom.

My favorite travel quote by Kafka provides perspective on this Bohemian state, ‘I always enter and leave the suburb with a weak mixed feeling of anxiety, of abandonment, of sympathy, of curiosity, of conceit, of joy in travelling, of fortitude, and return with pleasure, seriousness, and calm, especially from Žižkov.’
