Each morning before I arrive at work I sketch something along the way. The sketches in this book are of Rhode Island and the surrounding area. I do not live under the illusion that this is art… merely my representation of the world in which I travel. It is mostly limited to the everyday scenes in everyday neighborhoods. There are no great landmarks or tourist destinations in this volume -- the history and and neighborhoods throughout Rhode Island, in todays world, is my canvas. I sketch from direct observation, in ink, putting the image directly on the page. I hope you enjoy these marks as much as I enjoy making them.
