Hugging the Yellow Line is the story of one woman’s journey to dust off a break-up and reclaim her happiness. Dividing everything in two, she sells her possessions and buys a motorcycle. She carries what she has left in Gearsacks and sets off of an adventure across the United States. In between her search for good food, wine and jazz, she finds a reason to get off her bike and stay a while.

She is a guest MC, curator and feature at Brisbane’s spoken word poetry event, Words or Whatever, and has contributed to the Melbourne Poetry Map. Betsy was co-author of the poetic play, She Stole My Every Rock and Roll and poetic dialogue, Chosen Family, with the Belles of Hell.
