I have been taking pictures since 2008. My interest for photography started in a Graphic Design and Photoshop class in high school. When editing pictures in Photoshop, I realized quickly that if I had better quality images it was a lot less work to edit the pictures. Shortly after, I was afforded the opportunity to be the event and sports photographer for my school newspaper. I used my high school’s camera until I bought my own when I went to college. In conversation with my parents, they enlightened me that I was not the first in the family to become a photographer. They told me that my paternal grandfather and father were both photography enthusiasts. In addition, my uncle used to be the photographer for the local newspaper and police department in the Virgin Islands. I am currently at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography. I am also the event photographer for the American Institute of Graphic Arts chapter at my school.
