À propos du livre
Michael Kenna is undoubtedly one of the most exhibited and collected photographers working today. With a signature style all his own, Michael Kenna has achieved international recognition for his photographs, which have been exhibited throughout the world and are included in the permanent collections of most major museums. Kenna has proven time and again that his vision knows no boundaries. Whether working along the shores of South Korea, the Great Wall of China, mines in Germany or the gardens in France, Kenna seeks places of solitude, which speak volumes about humanity and the haunting beauty found in nature.
CEG is proud to present our 18th one-person exhibition and invites the public to wander with the artist through places that are both remote and heavily trafficked, reminding us of the beauty we tend to overlook. In July, Nazraeli Press will publish Kenna’s newest monograph, SHINAN (62 photographs), featuring work from his recent trips in this region of South Korea. With more than 50 monographs documenting his travels, Michael Kenna shows no signs of slowing down.
