À propos du livre
"Privatsphären" (Private Spheres) is a full color, 120 page book that features 98 art works from 8 international artists as well as photos from their professional and personal lives. These art images include a special section of the 16 works that they exhibited in their October 2011 exhibition in Vienna, Austria at the Rearte Gallery. Information about and photos of the gallery are also provided by the gallery director and painter Abd Masoud.
Contributing Artists: Adrian Bayreuther (Germany), Alberto D’Assumpção (Portugal), Olga Dmytrenko (USA/Ukraine), Frank Ettenberg (Austria/USA), Harriette Lawler (USA), Abd Masoud (Austria/Jordan), Izabella Pavlushko (Azerbaijan), and Constantin Severin (Romania).
Originally created to serve as the exhibition catalogue for the Vienna exhibition, the book grew to become much more: a vivid journey through the art and lives of the eight artists featured. Book design and cover design by Harriette Lawler. Cover photo by Frank Ettenberg. Each artist proofread and edited their own pages.

Harriette Lawler
Jemez Springs, NM, USA
Originally from Louisiana, Ms. Lawler currently resides in the New Mexico mountains, but lived and worked in NYC for 20 years. As a sculptor, she has shown her work in Europe and throughout the USA; co-founded and co-directed two artists cooperatives (Matters of the Art in Louisiana and Art Jemez in NM); organized and curated many art exhibitions; and published five books under her art company Moon and Mountain. She was designer and art editor for all five books. Other publishing credentials include Rolling Stone, The Village Voice, and Popular Mechanics. Ms. Lawler is also the gallery director of Illume Art Gallery.
