À propos du créateur
Bonnie Schupp (1944-2021) was a photographer, writer and middle school teacher, and creator throughout her life. One project, "365 Gifts," published through Amazon, began on her 70th birthday. Every day for a year, she wrote about a gift the day brought and illustrated the writing with her photos. An earlier 365 project, "Dog Tag Poetry," available through Blurb, began with a birthday gift from a friend and turned into a book of 365 haiku poems illustrated with dog tag photos. Another Blurb book, "Defining Ourselves," was a project involving people ages 4 - 100 from fifteen countries who defined themselves in one sentence beginning with "I am." She then took portraits to illustrate their definitions. "Defining Ourselves" was a solo exhibit five times in the Mid-Atlantic region. Her final project is unfinished -- asking couples who had lived together 40 or more years, married or unmarried, for a single word explaining that endurance and illustrating their answers with a portrait.
