I was raised in northern California in a strict religious family. There was lots of love and lots of family. The summers were made of riding bikes and roller skating. I knew I had an artistic talent when I was in 5th grade but no attention was given to it growing up.I majored in Art while in college where I was probably the happiest, but I kept hearing that I should get a "real" job. I've spent most of my life working in traditional positions for traditional companies. So throughout the years I ignored my gifts and passions and worked at other things. Within the last 20 years I slowly started to give in to my creative urges. Designing inside and outside spaces, sculpting, drawing, creating 3 dimensional objects, painting and jewelry making. I found my bliss and will never give it up again. Art is my essence. To create. This is what I should be doing, need to be doing and must be doing. I can't imagine my life without it.
