I chose to compile this book to share some of my favorite photographs taken here in the Appalachian area of our country. I moved here to Knoxville, Tennessee at the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains in June of 2006 from St. Petersburg, Florida where I was born and raised. I have been consistently awe struck by the sheer and complete beauty of this part of the United States.

The following photographs were taken from 2006 to 2011 in various areas of East and Central Tennessee and Western North Carolina. They are in parks, on mountain peaks, from the Blue Ridge Parkway, river and lakeside and always surrounded by natures beauty.
