Places where the rocks meet the sea, or the sky.

Extremities I find myself drawn to, again and again.

The idea for this book came to me as I began making square, black and white 'outcrops' from my colour photographs - and quickly discovered it was very difficult to display them - without going to great expense.

For a while, they appeared on a blog I created specifically for the purpose but, since no one visited it, I decided it was time to stick them in a book.
