Grew up in Elkhart, IN. University of Missouri School of Journalism grad; hired by WLOX-TV in Biloxi, MS. Went into public relations, taught high school journalism and ran the local Red Cross Chapter for seven years, including 2005 The Year of Katrina. Mother to three boys, ages 10, 6, 3. Have lived on Mississippi Gulf Coast for almost 19 years. Active Rotarian, member of First Presbyterian Church of Pascagoula, and a variety of civic activities. Enjoy reading, movies and running.
