À propos du livre
Having cruised and raced all my life I have noticed that most cruisers are more interested in recording a diary of their voyage rather than an hour by hour listing of course, speed and conditions.
The Cruising Log offers a free format layout differing from the typical marine log with its rigid format and limited space for remarks. The Cruising Log has in addition to daily headings for destination, departure and arrival times and weather conditions a large grid section for notes, diagrams of anchorages, restaurants, stores, people met and other events. For particularly eventful days there are blank continuation pages at the back of the log. If desired it can still be used to record regular time, course, speed and conditions.
Interspersed through the log are some of my pictures from cruises in Maine and Alaska. I hope you find this The Cruising Log useful in capturing fond memories and useful information from your voyages.

À propos du créateur
Robert Bavier
Tolland, CT, USA
I grew up sailing and first cruised Maine when I was 2 years old. Since then I have sailed everything from a windsurfer to a 12 meter America's Cup boat. My father, Bob Bavier, successfully defended the America's Cup as helmsman on Constellation in 1964. He taught me what I know about sailing, both cruising and racing.
