À propos du livre
Experience the sights and sounds of New York through the photography of Donald K. Uvick in "First Stop Manhattan". In 2008, Don released his first collection of Manhattan images at an exhibition at the Perry County Council of the Arts in Newport, PA.
Don spent his very early years in Queens; one of the five boroughs. Although it was a short time, he has always considered NYC to be his second home. Each of the five boroughs of New York City offer their own history and have a unique character all their own. This hard copy exhibition of his images portrays his unique view of Manhattan. He hopes to publish additional books of Manhattan images and continue this photographic journey to the other boroughs.

I have been active in the arts for over 25 years. As a fine art photographer I strive to provide a variation in subject matter which is pleasing to both the casual observer and those with a trained artistic eye. My work has been exhibited in many one-person and joint shows throughout Pennsylvania including the State Museum’s “Art of the State”, the Susquehanna Art Museum, the Harrisburg Area Community College in Gettysburg and the Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery, Lebanon Valley College. Additionally, I have served as an officer for various art organizations including the Harrisburg Camera Club and the Mechanicsburg Art Center School and Galleries.
