À propos du livre
Through his unique collection of photographs, shot in Southern New South Wales, Gavin Jackson captures the moment when you first walk in to your hotel room – before you unpack or use any of its facilities. At that point, the room is essentially a blank canvas waiting for you to relax, sleep, shower and add to its story. Your experience in that room is recorded in its history and is quickly washed away when you check out so that on the surface, the room looks like you have never been there. Only you know what has taken place in that room.
The next time you check into a hotel, have a think about the history of the room and what you would see if the walls could talk.
