Kim Bright has been an avid photographer since he could hold a camera, and feels privileged to try and capture precious moments in time that convey his connection with the earth and his passion for life. Kim's interest was encouraged by family and friends, and he credits his uncle with much of his early training and development (so to speak) in the field. He now uses a Nikon D700 digital camera for much of his work, but has been known to carry his earlier, lighter, Minolta instead during his travels. He still has a small collection of vintage cameras which remind him of a bygone era and the start of his journey along this wonderful path. Still unsure whether photography is an artistic science or a scientific art, Kim has the utmost respect for all the earlier photographers. He holds Ansel Adams as one of the greatest and perhaps his prime inspiration. Devoted to helping others, Kim has an alternative therapy practice in New South Wales, a passion he shares with his wife Katherine.
