As a designer I love to use humour to make a point about things I believe are wrong in politics, people and society at large. These are issues that affect everyone and therefore must be accessible by everyone. The streets and busy areas of the city are perfect for displaying my work even if some guerrilla/temporary instillation work is required. I believe that design can be used to satire current events and issues and make them more accessible to a larger public who wouldn’t usually be interested. By introducing the unexpected objects and instillations into the urban environment, intrigue can be used to reach out to these individuals.
