À propos du livre
A wonderful story about a trip to the Arctic illustrated with magnificent photographs.
A barren and frozen land located between 74 and 81 degrees of latitude north, the Svalbard archipelago is one of the world’s largest areas of untouched natural beauty. It is filled with majestic mountaintops and dramatic glaciers cascading into the polar ice cap. A land where the midnight sun shines 24 hours a day during the summer months and where darkness obscures the landscape throughout the winter, only to be broken by the eerie glow of the Northern Lights. This is a land of silence and peaceful existence.
