À propos du créateur
Frank Wallace lives on the southern coast of Maine, a retired schoolmaster. In addition to SURFACES he published two other books in 2009: Raspberries and Children – A Celebration of Teaching (described by a senior editor at Scholastic Press as the most unique and inspiring book about education I've ever read. ) His other book, The Starlight Medallions is a children's adventure story set on the coast of Maine and behind the Northern Lights. Both are available at Amazon and other on-line bookstores. Autographed copies of all three books may be ordered at www.childscapes.com. Wallace has been taking photographs for over 45 years. His work been featured in galleries and is in a numbert of private collections around the country. The SURFACES collection began with his explorations of Maine's rocky coast and sandy beaches. His interest in old walls and other man-made surfaces began on a trip to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico and expanded as he travelled to other countries.
