À propos du livre
A brief record of a campervan journey in May and June 2010
We caught the ferry from Harwich to Esbjerg. We spent a few days in Denmark and visited the Viking ship museum at Roskilde. Then over the Oresund Bridge into Sweden where we indulged ourselves with a quick look at 'Wallender's' Ystad. A few days in southern Sweden then to Vaxjo where we camped by Benno Engstrom's lovely cabin.
We followed the coast road north to Skelleftea and inland on the E10 to Kiruna and then over the border into northern Norway. The E8 road is beautiful with the snow melt causing fantastic water falls.
We turned south into Finland where we slowly made our way to Helsinki. We took a ferry to Rostock and then drove across Germany into the Netherlands and home using the ferry from the Hook. Our journey lasted for 37 days and we drove 5945 kilometres.
