This book contains two serial poems in the style of the Dadaists who created the "exquisite corpse" in the early Twentieth century. Each of the twenty-two stanzas are illsutrated by twenty-two artworks that in some fashion represent the meaning of each stanza.



The works were created over two years for a literature festival held in Tampa, Florida annually called DEEP CARNIVALE.

I am one of the founders and current president of the Artists and Writers Group, Inc, a non-profit dedicated to doing creative events in our community such as Deep CArnivale.com. I work at Hillsborough Community College-Ybor City campus as a project director, and direct the Ybor Festival of the Moving Image www.yborfilmfestival.com. A and WG's next big project is the Cuban Sandwich Show June 2011--art, literature, music, film, dance, theatre, cusine-ALL about Tampa and/or Cuban Sandwiches. I was born in San Bernardino, Califorina and grew up with a sister and two brothers in Amboy (pop. 86), between Barstow and Needles, CA in the lower Mojave desert. Served in the US Army 71-73, graduated from University of South Florida in 79. Been doing art and film since.
