Life History Books conducts relaxed interviews, collects photos, and lays everything into fully-customized books. In just four hours of interview time, clients can have an archival memoir to pass down through the generations. Interviews can be done over the phone for Michigan-based clients.



With the memoir service, the personal historian interviews the client and text from transcribed interviews is interspersed with personal photographs, recipes and other mementos. With the tribute book service, the personal historian interviews 1-12 people who speak about a person being honored. Photos and memorabilia are laid into a book along with the text, and the book can be presented as a surprise or commemorative gift.



Book designs are fully personalized from the cover’s appearance to font size. In about a month, an heirloom memoir is ready. Every detail is in the client’s control, a proof is even approved before it goes off to print.
