I'm a junior at Northern Kentucky University pursuing a BFA with an emphasis in Photography. I spent most of my life doing theatre & my interest in performance and emotion has come forth through my photographs. I like to explore the feelings, secrets, fears and fantasies a person can have throughout his or her life in my work. Unfortunately life can't be as theatrical & colorful as plays or musicals, so I like to create an elaborate, fictional version of how interesting I wish life were through my images. In my two years of photographing I have received two scholarships at NKU, published a book, have had my work shown in several local galleries as well as two images in the Pingyao International Photography Festival in China, was the portraiture winner in the American Photo on Campus Go Pro competition & was voted #2 in the 2010 Best of Cincinnati contest in the "Local Visual Artist" category.
