À propos du livre
It was during the first few days of September in 2009 when I took the plunge to buy a new camera. After several weeks of comparing various different cameras and several months of saving money, I eventually chose the Nikon D5000. Getting used to the camera was no problem as I had always loved landscape photography, so a few trips out into the countryside got me happily snapping away.
I had never really explored portrait photography before, mainly due to a lack of subjects willing to be photographed. It was on one of my photography outings on a hill near Petersfield in Hampshire when the first spark of an idea hit me. I do have a subject willing to be photographed as often as I like; that person was me. On September 15th 2009 I took my first self portrait in this new project; not actually knowing what the project was going to be. I liked the photograph, and the next day I took another, then another and so it continued; for three hundred and sixty five days.
