À propos du livre
The anis of Monyul are Buddhist nuns of the Tibetan tradition who live in one of the most remote areas of northeastern India, in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Most are members of the local Monpa tribe and come from poor villages to study and practice Buddhist teachings in one of the four ani gompas (nunneries) in the vicinity of the large Tawang monastery. This book offers a glimpse of the life at Singsor gompa near Lhou Village.
