This is a story in images about the 4o small paintings I have worked on in the spring of 2010, interspersed with images of my studio in the old granary of a farm ca 20 km from Milan, and images from my trip to the Sahara from late December 2009 until mid-January 2010. The focus is on colour: of nature, of the pigments, plays with contrasts. My works are studies in colour, I prepare my own paints with casein, oils and pigments, and I am a light addict: meaning the light in my farmhouse studio, and in the Sahara, which makes the colours interact.
