À propos du livre
From the moment I arrived in Bhutan until the day I left, I could not stop smiling.
In this land I found the beauty of simplicity, the richness of the soul, the sacred bond between landscape and spirituality, between silence and gratitude.
A smile born for no reason, like a flower opening to the light.
Bhutan taught me that every step can be prayer, that every meeting is a reflection of our own light. In this land suspended between sky and mountain, spirituality is not sought: it is breathed. It is in the hands of the monks turning the prayer wheels,
in the voice of the wind passing through the colored flags,
in the silence that unites humans, animals, stones and clouds.
I understood that compassion is not a feeling, but a state of being:
a way of living in the world without separation. In Bhutan I realised that true wealth is not what one possesses, but what awakens in the heart.
And that, sometimes, travelling does not mean searching: it means remembering what we had already found. The journey did not end with my return home: it continued within me, like a rainbow that does not fade, but gently dissolves into the light.
